Amber Weissman (She/Her) is a NYC-based dancer, aerialist, singer, actress, and yogi. After moving to New York at the age of 16, she proudly completed her BFA in dance at the Joffrey Ballet School under the direction of Angelica Stiskin and Michael Blake. Amber has had the privilege to perform works by Rena Butler, Bradley Shelver, Dee Caspary, Akira Uchida, and Jess Hendricks.
In 2020, Amber embarked on a journey to Memel, a small rural town in the Free State, South Africa. Through a nonprofit organization, SHEWINS, Amber taught, choreographed, and curated Memel Primary School’s first-ever dance program. She spent three months laying the groundwork for potential future dance programs and developing a curriculum for an introductory western dance course.
In 2023, Amber completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Mallorca, Spain, where she received her certification through the internationally recognized, Yoga Alliance.
Most recently, Amber completed her third contract as a dancer and aerialist with Carnival Entertainment where she performed on XL-class ships: Mardi Gras and Celebration. During her time with Carnival she had the opportunity to take on leadership roles such as dance captain, wardrobe captain and wardrobe coordinator.
Amber is thrilled to continue to spread her love for movement through performing and teaching around the world.
